LARK GILMER
Lark has forged a career as an international advertising photographer in the USA and abroad for making the impossible possible. She continues to guest lecture at the college level sharing her love of image making, of light and shadow, and creating something from nothing. "The moment I witness a student's light bulb moment, when they understand the technical language of photography and then use it to unleash their own vision, is a privilege."

Her conceptual work is shown in art museums and private collections in Europe and the U.S.

Memento Mori or Still life photography is often a forgotten genre in today's culture. It isn't quick. It requires attention to every photographic detail. Creating something from nothing teaches so much about spatial relationships, lighting, color, logistics, (quite frankly...all of it). What I love about teaching this class is that it blurs the line between all of the other genres. You're gonna luv it!

This is the class that will help you discover your visual voice and what will separate you from another photographer. I can pretty much guarantee that you won't be taking images but rather creating them. It's the class that will elevate your work.
